What a wild ride. I am so grateful for this return to the counterculture world of the 50s California scene and the heady pleasures and pains of the decadents who rode that big leviathan.

If you'll indulge me, I offer up a headline in Ellroy style for this incident and only wish I had my own 1950s tabloid paper to publish it in -

ROCKET SCIENTIST BIDS FOR TINY HUMAN CREATION; EXPLODES SELF - sexblood magick connection with mind-cult spymaster suspected, as cutup author probes assassin ring.

Just turned on the comments, mea culpa. Still getting used to the substack interface...which is why it seems a little quiet here.

Hi again Peter,

So today I discovered that there was a TV series called "Strange Angel" based on the life of Jack Parsons.

Have you seen it? With names like David Lowery and Ben Wheatley attached to it, it sounds promising.

God awful. So much wrong with it I wouldn't know where to start.

The actor who plays Jack is a good casting, he's also in Midsommar. Bur a dreadful mess of a script. Really worth not putting in your unconscious.

Thanks for that - it's a pity that there can't be a well-made screen version of such a fantastic story.

It will happen again, but with the current climate of the creative industry I see very little hope of it being good. Ditto a decent screen Crowley.

This article is phenomenal, and scratches a certain itch. I was talking to someone this summer about this very thing. With much less eloquence and detail, but nonetheless. Also, in the winter and spring I was getting steady synchronistic input about a great many things which included MK projects, Manson, Lovecraft, Kenneth Anger, Lucifer/Lilith. Just today I ran across a reference to Stranger In A Strange Land. I didn't go looking for any of these hits. I simply couldn't get away from them.

It's rubbing that same lamp.

Thanks Landon. I think the lamp is going to really start glowing for us all and that genie isn't staying quiet. Appreciate you sharing your own synchronicity storm.

I have gotten the same feeling. On some level, I have a deep certainty that the specter of comeuppance around the empire's occult workings and mind control projects is starting to make itself known, and that that story is going to get very, very weird, very quickly. The wider societal realization has been slowly, by degrees, but I think we're getting to the 'all at once' portion of things.

The Bluebird is coming home to roost.
